Kim Kardashian – a modern-day Herodias?
Kim Kardashian reminds me of Herodias in the bible, Herod Antipas’ wife. If you’ll remember, Herodias conspired with her daughter Salome to have John the Baptist’s head served to her on a platter. Here you have a powerful woman who can manipulate her foolish husband into doing her bidding but she couldn’t manipulate John The Baptist who had called her out so she burned with anger. Who is this nobody that he should stand up to the mighty Herodias? Well, Herodias had the last word: “Criticize this bitch and you will die”, I can hear her saying. Behind all that makeup, she seethes with an air of arrogance and entitlement.
Because of Kim Kardashian, her husband Kanye ‘Ye’ West made a dis rap song about me since Kim got upset at not being able to manipulate me. She, like Herodias, married a powerful man, so why not use his power to take down an enemy? I guess some people get off by using their power and celebrity to try to ruin people. Kim is perfectly capable of doing her own dirty work without conspiring with her husband, but hey what’s a man good for if you can’t manipulate him, right Kim?
