Trump says he doesn’t like people who don’t like him. That’s honest, and if we were truthful, most of us feel this way. I know I do. However, this isn’t really the posture we should have as Christians since the Bible says “do good to those that hate you” (see Luke 6:27). This is almost impossible to achieve without divine help from above. So what Trump is doing is not so irrational. He’s thinking the way most of us think most of the time.
