The Cup
God has given me an unusual cup to drink, but drink it I must.
I’ve never really questioned God’s plan for my life or wondered why he has given this cup to me and not someone else. I actually feel quite privileged that God would choose to use me even if it means pain.
All I can do is rest in God’s grace, and endure it knowing my destiny is secure and knowing it isn’t up to me to usher in God’s plan. I’m at God’s mercy here, its all in his hands. Only he can rescue me and come through for me. My life is not in my hands and I need to rest in God’s providence. Everything I know about God tells me he is faithful and true so that’s what I’ll rest in.
