I have this friend that I’m conflicted about. I don’t like to think the worst of people especially when this person claims I’m their best friend and swears he’s a loyal kind of guy. He may be all of that to a certain extent, but everything I’ve observed about him tells me he is going to backstab me when all of this blows up. He will go along with the prevailing narrative. He will accuse me of harming what he thinks is his pristine reputation, but in reality he ruined his reputation a long time ago. I’ve spent lots of time praying for this guy. But I don’t believe tons of money is going to bring him to Jesus. It will have the opposite effect.
