You&#8217;ve probably heard of the stereotypical Hispanic club-going cassananova, but this stereotype is based on reality. Growing up, it was customary for my friends and I to greet all of our female friends with a kiss in the morning at the start of the school day. Yes, 13 and 14-year-olds kissing each other was expected. It&#8217;s their custom. And did you know that all people of the Caribbean islands are reportedly the most affectionate people on earth? This is why I love freestyle music. It&#8217;s all love music. Yes, some of the music is very sensual or sexual in nature, but not all of it. As a Christian, I still love freestyle. I grew up on this music, and not all freestyle is about sex. Some of it is pure love. Yes, some of it is sad breakup music, but there are many positive, uplifting songs celebrating the virtue of love and the romance we all experience when we fall in love. So as a Christian, I have to stay away from the freestyle that&#8217;s too sensual, but I won&#8217;t stop loving freestyle. I will always remain a &#8220;Freestyle Freak&#8221;. If you&#8217;re a Christian, you should read the Song of Solomon. Or what about Isaac and Rebekah? We should celebrate the love between two people along with all the romance and joy that comes with it. This love is a reflection of the love God has for us.
