It’s not necessarily “power to the people” anymore, but “power to the right people”<\/em>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Roberts\u2019 academic focus on the survival and identity of enslaved populations creates a striking paradox when viewed alongside his modern political agenda. While his historical work meticulously documents the resilience of marginalized groups against oppressive structures, his leadership at the Heritage Foundation is now dedicated to dismantling the very federal frameworks\u2014from DEI initiatives to administrative protections\u2014that many argue are essential for those same groups to thrive in the 21st century.
